Ana Becker
Married Franz Barbie in 1918 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia.
Husband, Franz died of throat cancer 20 November 1941.
Her eldest son, Franz, joined the Resistance and was shot by German troops.
It is believed that a neighbour may have made false allegations to the authorities regarding the family which they became aware of and this prompted Ana and her remaining children to flee Yugoslavia.
Ana, her children Johan, Maria, Ana, Alexander and Adolf became Displaced Persons and were in camp in DP Kufstein, Austria.
Family, without Maria, were then taken to Naples where they boarded the ship, US General WM Black, and arrived in Australia 13 Dec 1949.
Ana married Lazo Teodorivic in Parkes, NSW, Australia in 1954 however this marriage did not last longer than a year.
