Zdravo all!
I am doing some genelogy work and trying to find more information about my family. Our surname is Mudrovich, which would have been Mudrovic in Serbia.
Here is what I know: We were exiled from Serbia in the late 1800s- early 1900s. We lived in Croatia for a time, before we were made to leave there. I am not sure why we were exiled (the older members of our family were very tight lipped about it, many of them taking the secret to their graves). I only very recently found out that we were exiled.
I am looking for any information at all that anyone might know. I would love to find a coat of arms if one exists, also.
Thanks,
Amanda Mudrovich
Amanda,
Could you be more specific about being exiled? When did your family immigrate and where to?
There is no coat of arms for the Mudrovich family.
Please read the articles in the knowledge base for more info.

Sergej
Hi Sergej,
I wish I knew more about the exile. All I know is that it would have been around the time of 1870- early 1900s when it happened. My family was exiled from Serbia and lived in Croatia for a while. Then they were made to leave there.
Amanda
I assume you are living in the US now? If so please go check with Ellis Island for the immigration records. That should provide you with more information.

Sergej
