Looking for ANY information regarding the family of Franz BARBIE and Ana BACKER/BEKKER who were married in Belgrade in 1918
Individual Details:

Ana BACKER/BEKKER: DOB 15 Oct 1902, Belgrade; Died 16 Mar 1973, Burrawang, NSW, Australia
Children:
Franz - DOB abt 1921; Died 1941, believed died with father
Jovan/Johann - DOB 1923 - migrated to Australia as Displaced Person, arr 13 Dec 1949
Maria - DOB abt 1927 - migrated to Australia, details unknown.
Had a child, Boris born Austria 1946, migrated with grandmother to Australia, arr 13 Dec 1949
Anna - DOB 10 Sep 1933; Died 10 Feb 2012, Kincumber, NSW, Australia - migrated to Australia as Displaced Person, arr 13 Dec 1949
Alexander - DOB 27 Dec 1936 - migrated to Australia as Displaced Person, arr 13 Dec 1949
Adolf - DOB 26 Aug 1941 - migrated to Australia as Displaced Person, arr 13 Dec 1949

The family was Catholic.
Franz (Snr) is believed to have been a member of the Partisan force prior to 1918.
It would appear from family photographs that they were involved in butchery as there are images of a large slaughterhouse possibly around the Pancevo region.

I can be contacted at [email protected] if you are able to help or have any queries. I am in Australia and English is my only language and is proving quite a barrier so any help will be gratefully appreciated. We would be only too pleased to share information with any others researching or connected to this family.
Thank you in advance
Jen Walsh

I'm afraid I don't know who you are.
Can I please ask your interest in this Family?
