Hello Rado,
Do you know from what place in Kosovo they came?
Regards,
Sergej
Dear Rado,
is "Golesti" the name of the new village in Romania your ancestors created near Bucharest, and is it possible that they named the village Golesti after the village in Kosovo they originated from? There are many examples of identical-named villages across Serb countries (from Dalmatia to Banat, from Bosnia to Kosovo) -- this often comes with the fact that Serbs who had to move from one place to another gave the name of their old village to their new one.
I strongly believe that the place of origin can be a crucial link in genealogical research. Knowing that, one could find a right place to begin his quest for roots.
