I am new here and am not sure exactly how this process works. I came across old family photos of relatives from Glina. The backs of some photos say Glina, others say Majske Poljane in later years. There is writing on the backs but I can only loosely translate them using the google translator. One speaks of someone being wounded during WW11 involving Ustase and N.O. (vojskom) army. I have a picture of the lady and her son who was 2 yrs and 2 months in 1952. There are names but I'm again not sure of what are first and last names other than the mother's maiden name which is Nedju Bjelajac. How can I begin finding relations in or around Glina?

I assume you mean living relatives as you posted in this forum?

Please scan those photos and the text in the back and either post them here or send them to my email [email protected]

Once we traslate what is written there we can continue to help you more. :)

Have you checked the research section on this website? There is article there on Glina families and contact information for our volunteer historian who is able to assist families from that area.

Here is the link to the article:

Also could you please post any other info you have names, birth years, year of emigrating, ship manifests? That would help too.
