I am looking for books, in Serbian, on the migrations of the Dalmatian Serbs. Namely from the Knin area. I already have some books that talk about this but I am wondering if I missed any ref. or books related to this. Also old documents that are in Greek or Latin are welcomed as wel as Stari Slovenski for that matter.

I anyone knows anything please let me know.

Sergej

Regards,
Sergej

Dear Sergej,

could we have a page at SGS web site that would contain a reference book list?
Everyone who posess any book on genealogy, heraldry or other related topic could add those books to the list. We have this practice in the Association of Amateur Heralds, so it's easy to ask someone to look for something in a book he listed in his possesion.

Be well,

I have a lather large list of reference materials on this subject of both original available sources and historical books, but i will have to sit down and categorize it and tidy-up all the links for the references available in English too. Will post ASAP. :)

Hi David,

I've been doing a bit of online reading and searching myself lately and I came across a site with online books on this subject.  One in particular might interest you..The book is "Nasa Prezimena" by Peter Simunovic with a glossary of surnames at the back.  There are also other books on migrations on the same site.

You can read them here

We are working on creating maps under the Learning Center with migrations etc.

If you read Serbia go check at Plato Bookstore in Belgrade.

Regards,
Sergej
