Hi Sergej - The reason the files do not attach is for some reason they each show as being 4mb - Strange for simple written documents. I am however slowly working through them using Metak. The papers show that he was a Serb and was orthodox and that he had served in the army from 1931. Although his father, Jova was a serb it could be that the mother Petra may have been Croatian as Lukic's still living in the area are Croat - Would this have been unusual?
I Thankyou and the team for your help and apologise if at times I may have appeared a little too keen but I have waited so long to be able to solve the mystery of a man that I dearly love.
We are planning to fly now to Sarajevo in either September or October and will travel only as tourists. The past is past and I will not be asking any questions or trying to trace living relatives although I will check local churches and cemetries especially for Jova and Petra.
Do you think we may arouse attention as tourists as my parents had done in 1988 or are things calmer now?
I will keep you posted if any more developments - Once again thankyou so much.
Andy

Almost done, I am looking into the place names.

Sergej
Sorry for my late reply, I was caught up with work.
The place is " Brdjani" and not Bržani, the second appears to be in Slovenia and also appears to be a spelling or interpretation email.

Sergej
