I have recently found some information that may be associated with my Geroge Demic b. 1880 in Glina area.

He appears to have brothers Janko Demic b. abt 1881, Josef Demic b. abt 1859, and Peter Demic b abt. 1875 and a sister named Joka Demic born abt. 1884 all saying they are from Klasnic and are coming to join their brother at Oak Station near Pittsburgh, Allegheny county, PA.

In addition to these people their is also a woman named Bojica Demic b. abt. 1881 and her son Duschan age 3 -4 years. They too, are from Klasnic and are going to her husband and the boy's fathera George Demic in OAk Station, Allegheny county, PA

Also George is listed as the friend of 3 men are going to his address at Oak Station Allegheny County, PA by the names of Stanko. Peter and Para Rudic also from Klasnic. And a brother-in law by the name of Sims Crevas.

Does anyone recognize these names? They all came to Allegheny county, PA between 1903- 1905.

I can find no trace of any of them her in the U. S except for George and Peter who is living with him in 1910. Peter disappears after 1910 and the rest can find no record of after their arrival here in the U. S.

I think my George's oarents were John Demic and Ana Rasanovic

Hi,

I am also Demic from Klasnic (Glina area).
You can contact me on e-mail: [email protected]
I'm also researching immigration records. I'm trying to find informations about Mico (Mićo), Gjuro (Đuro), Rade (Rade) and Vid (Vid) Demic.

Names spelling:
- Janko Demic (Janko Demić)
- Josef Demic (Josif Demić)
- Peter Demic (Petar Demić)
- Peter Demic (Petar Demić)
- Joka Demic (Joka Demić)
- Bojica Demic (Božica Demić)
- Duschan Demic (Dušan Demić)
- Stanko Rudic (Stanko Rudić)
- Peter Rudic (Petar Rudić)
- Para Rudic (Pajo or Pavle Rudić)
- Sims Crevas (Simo Crevar)
- John Demic (Jovo or Jovan Demić)
- Ana Rasanovic (Ana Resanović)

All these surnames (except Crevar, they are from nearby village) you can find in Serbian orthodox church records from Klasnic parish (year 1857).

Greetings from Serbia,
Petar Demic

I'm looking for informations about Demich family from Versailles, Pennsylvania.
I found them in US state census from 1940:
- George Demich, born 1894.
- Ester Demich, born 1895.
- Gladys Demich, born 1922.
- George Jr. Demich, born 1931.

I also found death records for George (19.7.1967.) and his wife Ester (6.4.1966.). They were buried at McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery (McKeesport, Allegheny County, PA).

George (born 1894) was born in Klasnic (Yugoslavia) and he came to USA in 1912. He was brother of my great grandfather Peter.
We lose contact with them after 1935.

I'm trying to found any information about George Jr. Demich and his sister Gladys.

Greetings from Serbia! :)
