I am researching my grandfather Yrakle (or possibly Yrakley or Hercules) Donovic, born in Serbia in either 1893 or 1898. He emigrated to the US as a young man, probably between 1920 and 1930. Looking for any connections to this lineage. Thanks for any information anyone can share or for pointing me in the right direction.

Since my last posting, I have learned that Yrakle Donovic is either from Rescov or Resen, in Serbia. His mother is Ana Donovic from Macedonia. He emigrated to the United States from France in 1922.

You should write them, check the Archival Network page on the main site ( we will soon embed the forums so untill then you need to navigate to the frontpage).
