I wish to find out the history of my fathers family and would like some advice as to where to obtain infomation.
My fathers name was Jevrosim Mitic and he was born in Bancarevo, Donja Studena, Serbia on the 27th July 1927. He left serbia during the second world war after being imprisoned by the Germans and went on to live in the UK after the war. I know that he as family still living in Serbia.

Hi,
Thankyou for your reply, the only information I have was that he was in a prison in Germany called Windeby in a toen called Eckernforde. He was released in 1948.
