Hello,
Really stuck in a tight spot at the moment
Hopefully someone can help me.
My name is Sam
My Real Grandads name was, DRAGO GLOBAREVIC
Born 8th April 1933 in , Montenegro
He immigrated to Australia arriving on the SS SKAUGUM and arrived in melbourne on 23 August 1955
Apparently there was a car accident and he died in a town called BURNIE tasmania on the 28th july 1978
I have all the information on his time in Australia, but that is where it ends
I have been told that, Globarevic were from 2 places
Globarević - Draževina (Podgorica); Sinjac and Vranjina by the lake Skadar; Podgorica; Nikšić
Globarevići, brotherhood in the village of Begova Glavica - Lješanska Nahija
I would like to know about where i come from but just can't seem to find anything else

Most likely the family has always resided in this region as most of the Montegrins inhabitants. The further you go back into the past you will find some people that lived in northern Albania when it was still Serbia. The surname is still in use today and you best bet would be to follow the steps in the Learning Center.
