Sergej,

I am confused a little. Is the name Grba Serbian or Croatian? I was told it is Croatian. I don't have an issue with that. Just would like to know facts.

Hi,

The name is Serbian, originates from Montenegro. What happened is that different branches moved out some of them into Croatia. The problem with Serbs and Croats is the religion issue. Most Serbs will say someone is a Serb when he is Orthodox and when he is Catholic they will refer to someone as a Croat. The same vice versa with Croatians.

The surname is of Serbian origin. The Montenegrin archives are full of them.
Even today objectivity is still an issue with genealogy.

Pozdrav,

Regards,
Sergej

Ok, I understand that. I will tell to Zoran what you have told me. I have a special favor to ask. Zorans English is not bad, but I think he would be more comfortable speaking in Serbian. I have recieved some e-mails from him regarding the Radakovic line. Is your reg. e-mail address up and going ok to forward what he has sent me? I have Saturday off. Maybe I can call you and Viki? Zoran has me very intriqued!

Sve najbolje, Sheila
