Zdravo Sergej,
You had asked about the immagration papers on my grandfather. I have to form to send for them. Just haven't done it yet. How ever, I have just been going off what I have read on the Ellis Island site. If you care to look at that just type in Gyuro Radakovic. He arrived July 21, 1913. He was 24. On that one it says Salbovatz. However says my great grandmother lived in Sadilovac. On the second one under George Radakovich, It says Dreznik. On that picture I told you about of his headstone. It says Sadilovac. So at this point I have no idea!! Which I have sent you a copy of, if the calendar ever gets there! They're in the same envelope.
Sve najbolje,
Sheila

Sergej,

Yes, the grave site is here in Omaha, Nebraska. The information given on the headstone, I assume was by my grandmother. Here is most likely a stupid question. What would be on the immagration papers, that I can't read off the Ellis Island site? Time to break out the forms and perhaps just send away for it! Still wish I could find my grandmothers.

Sve najbolje,
Sheila

All relevant info is on the forms from EllisIsland, like dates and places. You can register at EllisIsland and order a copy of the form for like 25$ I think. Wouldnt hurt to try that and send me a copy afterwards.

Regards,
Sergej

Sergej, I have ordered both sets of imagration papers for my grandfather. They should be before long. The first manifest from 1913, states his birthplace as Dreznik. I ahve already, as you know, made contact with Karlovac Archives and they have no information. They could have been destroyed :(. What is a communal archive?
Thank you for the websites. Am going to try and make contact through their e-mail address.......who knows!!
Keep us all abreast of what is really going on in Kosovo. CNN is way too slated on the truth!

Sve najbolje,Vazi se
