Hi!
I am trying to find the family name Ivkovic heritage. I and my familymembers live in Sweden and have no clue as to where the name IVKOVIC comes from:
- is it Serbian only and and were did this name originate from? (specific area or village)....
- Where can we find our ancesters generations back?
Our father, who passed away, came from a small village; Crljenac ...his name was Dragoljub Ivkovic.
He told us, when we were kids, that 6 generations back our ancestor was called only Ivko....he didnt nwo if this was true or not...
Is there anyone who can help us with historical information and facts?
