Serj,

The only details I have are that the Knezevic family migrated to where they are now  Gradiska. This was done aroung 1890 or so and was asked for protection from somewhere in Austria Hungy at the time . There were two brothers Milan and Jovan . Milan was born in 20-3-1906 and Jovan (gearge) not sure as of now. He died however in 1911 when his cart overturned brining wood across a bridge I am told . He was old enough to have 4 children before dieing. Slavko,Brane,Milos,Jovanka.

My father is Mile, sister Mica and zdravaka

Ok here is the deal. Gradiska is today in Bosnia, and you could write the archives there.

If you know of any info from the Benkovac region you should write the Croatian Archives.

The Bosnian archives can be contacted via: http://www.arhivbih.gov.ba/

Regards,
Sergej

Hello. Am very new here and beyond thrilled a forum as such exists. To the OP, my great grandmother is a Knezevich. Mary. I'm embarrassed to say I don't know what Mary translates to in Serbian. I found out a few days ago she also from Dalmatia. So not to clog the forum, please feel free to inbox me to continue this conversation. We may be family!
