I would much appreciate any help for Kuffner family in Banja Luka / Prijedor and or Pomes family in Prijedor / Prijedor-Trnjani.

surname Kuffner not ethnically from Bosnia, and there is no connection whit church in Bosnia, I know the reason for it the same name has been written into the nearest evangelical church books in Croatian, surname Kuffner is of Czech origin,example child born in Trnjani or Prijedor were enrolled in the church books of the evangelich Lutheran church in Zagreb, also enrolled as weddings, tray to look on site

Kufner/Kuffner is a name of german orgin and in this case then possible of germans in Bohemia or of jwes who often used german lastnames.
normally orgin would be about Kufe = skid but also some other possible:
