Hi,
I am looking to trace my fathers Yugoslavian records in order to track down his family and mine. My father Gojko Lukic was born in February 1944 - his original Yugoslavian passport (unfortunately stolen years back) stated place of birth as Hungary. He was the youngest of 11 children - all brothers and 1 sister.
He moved to South Africa in 1967/68 married and had 3 children of which i am one. He passed away in 1996 in South Africa. I have no further information about his Yugoslavian past besides for what i have listed above. I am really trying to track down his side of the family in an effort to learn more and meet my cousins, nephews ...
He did make a trip to Yugoslavia back in 1985 for a big family reunion. The pictures from this is pretty much all i have from his side and the only link if you can call it that to an entire family.
This is a long shot i guess but nothing ventured nothing gained
Any response and help on my cause would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Stevan Lukic
Stevan,
Do you know his hometown?
