Hello,

I'm looking for information about ascendants and descendants from the Maric Family who lived in Tepce (municipality of Zabljak, Montenegro).
Thank you,

Thomas

I have found Veselin Maric around 1800', who had 3 sons: Pavle, Mikajilo and Zivan.
Pavle married with Golubovic had 5 sons: Risto, Vaso, Leko, Bozo and Stevan.
I'm interested in all this branch and ascendants.
Thank you,

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

I dont know how far you are with your research, if you have exact dates or not. You could write the archives of Montenegro with a request, we have a letter template in the member section for that. Also I'd recommend going through the FAQ and other articles for info. There are no digital records FYI.

Regards,
Sergej

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, I don't any exact dates:
- Pavle Maric (born around 1830, died around 1905), married with ? Golubovic - 5 sons: Bozo (?-?), Leko (1872-?), Risto (1850-1916), Vaso (1870-1939), Stevan (1850-1908)
- Zivan (1825-1873)
- Mikajilo (?-?)
Which archive center should I contact?

Besides, I'm also looking for information about the Jovanovic family coming from Ugljare (Zubin Potok) in Kosovo begin of 20th century (Jovanovic Borivoje married with Persida Grujeic). What is the contact of the archive Center?
Thank you very much.

Thomas

You should contact them: http://www.dacg.me/
You can use Google Translate via translate.google.com to translate the site to English. You can try first by email and than by snail mail if they don't react.

Regards,
Sergej
