Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me find my sons, Lachlan and Bradleys', family in Montenegro.

Their father, Radosav Marsenic, along with his Brother, Ljubisa and their father, Milan Marsenic migrated to Australia in 1970.
Unfortunatly Milan passed away in June 2000.

I really do not know that much information bout the family. please find following what I could dig up from over here.

1. Radosav's mothers last name was Skataric
2. Milan was registered in the army
3. Milan's Parents names are Radosav and Mileva
4. Milan Married Darinka Dasic before migrating.
5. Milan and Radosav were born in Ivan Grad.
6. Milan's Date of birth is 15th May 1940

If anyone is able to help or suggest where i would be able to obtain any information in regards to my Boys family and heritage it would be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Belinda

Hi Belinda,

Sorry for the late reply. The name Marsenić comes from the branch of Laketić and originates from the Vasojević family.
What you could do is write the Montenegrin archives using the letter in member section. You can also use the phonebook in the link section to contact living relatives.

Let me know fi you need help.

Regards,
Sergej

The letter template you can find at: http://www.rodoslovlje.com/en/node/339

Belinda,

When you click on the download link does it pop up a window for you?
It should do that, in that window you should retype you login info and you can download it.

Sergej

Hi Sergej

I have sent off the request and am waiting for a reply. Thank you for your help.

You said in a previous message that there was a phone book I could look up numbers. could you let me know were that is, I cant seem to find it.

Also, (this on will test you, haha) my boys fathers mothers name was Vuka Skataric, I know that she has passed away (@ the year 2000), how do I get in contact with the remaining family over there.

Not really sure on to much detail on were they are, but I do know there is 3 uncles and one aunt Boro,Pero and Zoran, do not know the aunts name.

Thank you again for all your help.
