I'm having a hard time finding ANYTHING related to my family with the above mentioned last names. We belong to the Serbian Orthodox church and I still have yet to find anything after many hours scouring different sites and genealogy pages. I know the names were probably different at one point, but how different?

Any direction would be appreciated. I would love to give my dad this information especially about the Bogonovich/Matovich/Mandich side.

All I can come up with is my dads grandfather was Peter Bogonovich (born 1884) and his wife was Amanda Mandich (born 1892)..

My head is spinning from everything!

I remember there was a Mandich in Detroit. He was in Aunt's wedding party. I'll ask her about it and get back to you if I get any more information.

I asked my Aunt about the name Mandich, and I was right. There was a young man with that last name in her wedding party. As best as she could remember (she's 93) he lived in Chicago. He was not married at the time (1949). She did remember that he returned to the "old country" shortly after her wedding to be with his mother. It looks like a dead end. I'm so sorry. I was hoping she would remember more, but at 93 some of those memories just disappear. If I find out anything more, I'll let you know.
