I am researching the family history of my family. My grandfather, Adam Raseta, came to the USA in 1907. He was born in January 5, 1885. He was married to Mary Obluchar, also born in 1885. She followed him to America later. My grandfather's father's name was Joso Raseta. I do not know the town or village they were from. I have been unable to find ANY record of my grandmother's immigration to America. My grandfather, Adam, appears in the New York (Ellis Island) records for 1907. However, I have found NO trace of my grandmother's arrival. They were married prior to leaving Yugoslavia. I don't have any other information regarding my ancestors. My grandfather had a cousin, Roy Raseta, who also came to America. I'm not sure if Roy is an Americanized spelling of a Serbian name. Any information would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
