I split the thread because it wasn't really relative to the clan discussion. Finding out your family history can be done by inquiring at the archives. You should write them with what information you have now. The fact that you have dates and family saint information gives you a good head start.

Mucibabici live in Ljeskov Dub, Fojnica and Zijemlja (Nevesinje region). Once they lived in village Ravno in Gacko region.

There are existing two stories about their origins.
In first one Mucibabici came to Herzegovina from Skopska Crna Gora. It is mountain region in Macedonia.
Second one story tell us that Mucibabici´s origins came from brotherhood Rakocevici from clan Moraca.

Banjani is the name of the clan you are looking for. My family(Tepavcevici) came from the same area. Banjani covers the area around Gacko and into Crno Gora.

What do you know exactly about your family? Did you read the FAQ in the General forum? Did you read the articles in the Learning Center?
Dont go to Serbia without knowing more then just this, it will be a waste of money and time.
