Lulic is from Montenegro originally from the place of Zagarac.
As for the other information I can only give you one advice after checking out your information on genealogy.com
You will need to write to the individual archives with the following information:
*name
*date of birth
*place of birth
Now the archives in Slovenia and Croatia have been microfimed so you can access them with more ease through e.g. the archives there directly (write them a letter) or through the LDS family history centres.
But when you write to Serbia its a different ball game. Politics havent made it possible yet to microfilm, so everything is archaic there. Meaning you will have to write them and to be patient. Some of our members can testify of that. Unfortunally that is the only way! We hope that things will get better but untill then research can only be done that way. For reference, check the other posts on our forums and you will see what I mean. But posting on this forum is also good since we get a lot of visitors and maybe you bump into family
Regards,
Sergej
Also before I forget, families during those times migrated a lot. Most of the names you mentioned are Serbian of origin but come from regions like Dalmatia and Montenegro.

Sergej

Hello,
My name is Viki.
My father's name Milan A. Gorcev (dead)
His father Milan Gorcev'(as written on his SS application). He arrived in Halifax, Canada 1927 and then came to U.S.A. He died in 1971. He was a musician. His stage name was Milan Pancevac. He recorded music with RCA Victor in the late 1920's and 30's.
His father Milos Gorcev'ich (as was on the same SS application). I know nothing of him except that he married a spanish gypsy named Gisella Gavalar?
I have not been successful in finding out about the roots of the family. The passenger list said Milan Gorcev' was Servian. I have found out that
He married Gizella Molnar (Miller) in Cleveland, Ohio in abt. 1934 and they had 6 children. 3 are living and they don't know any more than I do. A man who works with Croatian history told me to try this spelling (Grcevic). So here I am. Maybe we're related ?!!!
Does anyone know about this name Gorcev'. Is it a derivative of Grcevic? or something else?
Help!
Thank you for your considerations.

Hello Everyone,
I was searching the internet for different origins of my last name. My name name is George Grcevich; the "h" was added on when my great-grandfather came to the U.S. I almost went to Croatia this past summer for the Croatian World Games, which led to my curiousness about where my family could have come from. Does anyone know what region this last name would be from?
Thank you,
George Grcevich
[email protected]
Hi George,
Your surname is from the Dalmatia region, its of Serbian origin. You can check Ellis Island for your great-grandfathers name and see where he was born. THe LDS centers allow you to check microfilms from that region in the States.
Most likely your family moved to the States due to poverty. The region is known as a troubled region and the last civil war levelled most churches and most books were destroyed as well. So your best chances are here on the forums hoping someone will see it in time and the LDS centers where you can access the microfilms.
A small PS to all: please dont post your email addresses on the forums. If people want to contact you they should use the "Private Message" option.

Sergej

Petar Grcevic, born 12-25-1892 in Kompolje, Croatia. The father of Petar was Simon Grcevic, and his mother Helen Jeka, both from Kompolje, though I don't have dates.

I'm also looking for the family of Francis Mineric, born 2-12-1889 in Delnice, Croatia and Joseph Jackovic from Lukve, Croatia who are the parents of Mary Patricia Jackovich, born 2-2-1919 in the US.
