Hello

What are the names of the Serbian Orthodox churches in the towns of Taras and Melenci. My grandparents, Despot and Jelena Marinkov were married in the church in Taras and would like to get some information about the church. Also, how would i go about getting their marriage records and other pertinent family information such as names of siblings, parents and other relatives?

Thanks
Marlene Czarnecki

You could check it with the phonebook but either way these are small towns and you couldn't miss them when you would go there ;-)
If you write them just write to the Serbian Orthodox Church or Serbian Catholic Church with the name of the saint attached and it will get there.

Regards,
Sergej
