I am looking for any information on the Spanovich family. My great great grandmothers name was Stana Spanovic, unsure of maiden name. Great Grandfaher was Simo Spanovic, born about 1885 in Senecake Serbia Yugoslavia,unsure of spellings. He immigrated to USA in 1912. Married to Sara (maiden name Bejlic?) Spanovic, born apx 1891, immigrated 7 years later in 1920. They had 1 son in Serbia named George(gjuro)Spanovich, and 5 other in West Virginia USA - Marco(Merco), Daniel(Dragon), Jennie, Mary, and my Grandfather Michael(mike)Spanovich. Additionally they were Orthodox Catholic and I have heard that the Spanovic's are said to have resided in the montenegro area of yugoslavia, unsure of this info as well. Please Help, my information ends where they immigrated!

Spanovic is from indeed from Montenegro from a place called Sotonici& Gradjani. You can acces all the data through the Montenegrin archives.
As for Bejlic, it doestn ring a bell.
Marco would be Marko
Daniel would be Dragan
Its possible they were Catholic, if so also check with the Catholic church in those areas. Do you have a link to Montenegro?
