Hi Sergej;

I finaly received family book on Stojadinov. Yes I finally got to know how my last name is spelled from birth certificate from Pancevo of Draga Stojadinov who is my fathers sister. I have much more info on the Old Country.
1. So could you please change the name from Stoyandinov to Stojadinov.

2. Also my grandfathers name is not Stava it is Velizar.
3. my greatgrandparents names are Ignat and Matsa Stojadinov from Farkazdin.
4.Lubitza Pavlov my grandmother, daughter of Jocka Pavlov were from Opovo.
5. Other towns where relatives might be are Chenta and Baranda which they called home. So the book says.
6. We found Radislav Stojadinov in Farkazdin 023-868146, we would call him but we don't speak Serbian. He might be a distant relative?
My grandfather was an only child and inherited all the land. Then they moved to Canada.
7. my grandmothers cousin also came to Canada his name was Milan Jovanocic (ch) his daughter's name was Lubinka and she returned to Serbia in the 1920 with her parents and taught school there for a few years before returning to Canada.

8.as I've mentioned before we have all the birth dates of whole family.

John

Hi Sergej. now that I have proper information I would like everything deleted so I don't confuse anyone and start again. I now know the proper spelling of my Serbian name and much more information, I think I would rather post on open forum also was wondering why you don't show hits on private SGS site. thanks for your time John,

Hi Serge what do you mean activate the read # and I do not wish to have the information already on the sgs site made public that is for members only. Are you a travelling salesman it seems your forever on the road. Willie Nelson a top western singer sings a song ON THE ROAD AGAIN maybe you should use it for theme song . John

Things are stable with the water level, we dont expect any more problems. I did some more research it is of course also possible that there is a Russian, Bulgarian or Macedonian link. Also there is a list with names from Jasenovac from people that died during WWII in the concentration camps, http://www.jasenovac.info/cd/zrtve/html/s.html

Sergej

Hi. glad your life jacket (water) is dry. Have looked on all sites in English. the root
stoy Stoj might be Bulgarian but all I ever find is Stoyan we do not have a n in name. One researcher tells me Stojadinov from Vojvodina claim to be original natives of Vojvodina & have claims to back it.??I can trace our line only to great grandfather, so far, thanks for info, not giving up though.John (Giga) found out this is my dads name, so its mine now.

Well it could be Slovak of origin but you need to find the Patronym or someone in your tree that e.g. came to Serbia. But then, they could have always been in Serbia.

Danica(SGS webteam) is getting more books so I hope she will soon post here with some more information on your surname.

Regards,
Sergej
