I hope so too, experience shows however that most initiatives in Serbia with email and websites ends in non-activity from the side of the archives and churches due to lack of funds or no interest .

Maybe you can send Danica a PM. She has been offline for a while do to internet and PC trouble. She should have a new laptop soon so I can take a holiday :-p

Regards,
Sergej

Okay, thanks Sergej, I don't quite understand, but researcher should find out I hope. The part I don't understand is where does the n come from Stojadinov I know means son of Stojad so how do we end up with Stojan if ggg grandfather was Stojan then are we( Vasojevici) Djuro's descendents Lopacini?? I picked all this up from one of your posts Sergej this is a lot of fun will try not to take up more of your time we will have to go out on the town some day. I am now checked with no way out but researcher has done Farkazdin for another
canadian family with much success, thanks again. Had my hand cortisoned it is working100% again.Do not bother with other post thats for stiring up interest with joe public.

Well, there can be a ton of reasons why he choose for that surname. Surnames are usually taken to honor someone or to give away a family trade whatever. The only way to figure it out is to look at the first guy who took that surname.

I am working on a DNA project for the SGS. It can give some hope to certain people in the future.

Sergej

THats great. Well we will soon launch a new feature for members only to present their family history online with many features. Since we are working on the complete site overhaul these days I expect it to be released in 3 weeks.
