My grandfather came to the US in 1928 traveling with a man named Ivan Antic both listed that they were born in 1896 in Urosevac (I attached their ship log as an image).  The name on the log is Vidosav Stanojevic, and I am trying to find birth records and any information about this name.  Could it be added to the surname database?  I do not know where to start or what direction to go from here.  It seems we no very little else about him prior to his arrival in the US, so I feel like I need to find a birth record.  Any help would be great!
