Hello everyone:
My great grandmother was a male order bride from Serbia. I know she had at least one brother, who was named Mica Tatalovic. He was an art teacher in Belgrade, probably in the 50's and 60's. He is dead now, but I know he had a son named Rodoslav Tatalovic, and if he is still alive he would be in his 80's by now. If anyone has any information, or can give me any tips on searching out my family, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You - Emily James
Do you have birthdates or documents with a little bit more information?
Regards,
Sergej
Hello, Emily !
Prof. Cupurdija told us about your search for family in Serbia. I am happy to tell you that there are more than a few of us here in Belgrade . My father is Simeon Maravić and his mother was Dragica (Draginja) Tatalović, Mihajlo's and your (great) grandmother's sister. In fact, a few years ago my father's sister, Milica, gave me an envelope of the letter that she got from the United States and asked me to search for any relatives there, but the handwriting was not clear so I gave up. We have a number of photos of your family, with Nikola and Dusanka Pavkovich, Elena, Lin, Nina and so on. If these names ring a bell, contact me ([email protected]). Hope I will hear from you soon. Sincerely, Dubravka Milovanovic (ex Maravic).
