Hello,
My family came from a village in Kosovo near Urosevac, called Kamena Glava about 200 yrs ago (1800). The 2 brothers that came from there were Kosta & Uros, and they brought their slava Sv Petka. I really want to find out what their last name was back then. Is there any old documents somewhere that I can find this out (Decani, Krusevac archives, Turkish etc)? They used to own a 'vodenica' in the village, so I assume they paid taxes to the turks or local administration there.

Also, can someone confirm, were their Bulgarians in Kosovo 200-300yrs ago? I ask because in the book of Atansije Urosevci (Gornja Morava i Izmornik), there he lists people as 'Bugari - nepoznato poreklo'.
