Thank you very much for your reply to Cherie. Interesting information about Ferizovic. The old map attached is from the 1910 Austrian Military maps and shows Babus north of Ferizovic. Also notice Papaz on that old map the the listing of Popovitze on the WW I Draft Registration. Perhaps they are one in the same?

Attached you will find the Naturalization paper, which mentions Papouze as his birthplace. Also the Austrian Military map is attached and a newer map of the region
